About our Speaker
Hoa Nguyen is Metcal’s Chief Technology Officer. Hoa has over 23 years experience in Embedded System design across all major platforms, and real-time device integration for a wide range of products from gas analyzer, fume extractor, singular-plural fluid dispenser, soldering iron and robotic to satellite switcher, ionizer, RFID, data acquisition, digital cameras, solid-state drives and more. He's had to design and build to meet compliance requirements such as RoHS, REACH, UL, CSA, CE, etc. Hoa is involved with national and international IoT conferences and teams and loves innovating!
In that work, Hoa has designed and implemented device drivers, software structure and architecture from a low-level assembly to high-level Object Oriented Programming languages for a variety of Microprocessors such as ARM Cortex-A7/8/9, Intel Atom E3825 CPU, Motorola 68HC05/11, 8051 Core MCU, PIC12/16/18 and PIC32MX/MZ. He always utilized the latest and greatest technology to ensure all new products complied with IoT/Industrial 4.0 regulation, which is a major theme for Metcal this year.
